The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for students seeking admission to undergraduate engineering programs in India. Held twice a year in January and April, this computer-based exam serves as the first stage for entry into top engineering colleges, including IITs and NITs. JEE Main consists of Paper 1, which features a total of 90 questions divided equally among Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with a 3-hour duration. For each incorrect answer in Paper 1, 1 mark is deducted. By taking the JEE Main, aspiring students can gain access to prestigious engineering institutions and pave the way for a successful career in the field.
